If anyone has any cool ways of making candles please post some here. I am hearing some people are interested. Besides how do you do it?
What kinds do you make? Do you use specific colors? scents? herbs? etc

I do! I have my finger in a lot of dif pies! (hmm blackberry!) I get my candle making supplies from walmart or hobby lobby, Im sure you could find a place online too. I usually concentrate on making ones for a specific purpose like 1 type per day. I have made some with gems and herbs. I will have to hunt mine down and take pictures of them. I put them away when connor started eating the wax lol.
I have a cinnamon and ginger that i use for healing. its brown/beige in color and has a cinnamon stick straight down the middle (with the wick through it) and It has clear crystals and citrine chips sprinkled in for an extra boost
oils are the best to use you can get the kind that you burn over a tea light but just add a few drops its flamable!

I have never made any because my mother would beat me up if I spilled wax all over her brand new kitchen Lil. But I shall be making some in the future when I am in my own place. I would be using soy wax. The cinnamon stick sounds wonderful, but does it not catch fire?!

I spilled mine all over my mothers cooker....she wasnt pleased but then i gave her a candle so it made up for it lol
As for candles, i love making them. I use soy wax or beeswax as i dont like paraffin. I started out with two small moulds, but i got two bigger ones today. When i use beeswax i dont add any colour or scent, i like them natural. But i do colour and scent the soy.
It's really simple to make, melt wax, pour into mould, leave to set. I know you might thats a bit simple, explain more, but if your a visual person like myself its best to google a video and watch, thats what i did. I get most of my supplies from ebay

This is something I want to do. So, is everyone more of a mold user and less of a hand dipper? Again, I know this is an older post, but I'm hoping someone will have a renewed interest
