DJ Conway hmm.. I have mixed feelings about her.. LOL.. her Celtic Magic and Norse Magic books were soo full of mistakes and I wanted to carve my eyes out.. but I haven't read by oak ash and thorn.. I'm sort of afraid to.. hahaha I would recommend Ted Andrews and John Matthews though for similar topics.. Joe might have some recommended reading as well.. as far as my favorite stone.. I gotta go with hematite

yea i agree with you, i think i have only read one other book of hers, i wasnt impressed. It was by chance i got this book at a local discount book shop. I have to say it's ok so far (bout 2 chapters in) but its like with silver ravenwolf take it with a pinch of salt lol I have a few of Ted Andrews books aswell and steven d farmer. Will look into john matthews, thanks for the suggestion

I would recommend the works of Emma Restall Orr if interested in Shamanism from a Druidic perspective.
