I used to use a pocket sized Tarot, called the Tarot Nova, and that was very fun. It made it convenient to read in school (yes, I have done probably 500 tarot readings in high school classes) and people responded well to the generally happy imagery.
I really do prefer the standard sized US Games tarot card sizes. They are easy to handle and shuffle, and allow for greater detail in the imagery.

I have had that deck twice lol. It was too awkward for me to shuffle due to that fact that they are square. My first deck was pocket sized. I prefer for rider clones to be standard sized and thoth deck to be pocket. I have both the standard and pocket in that one and much prefer the pocket one. I have never seen or held giant ones but they do look rather flashy and mystical and something you would see in a movie. Guess I will get some at some point and see what I think of them.
You did tarot in class? How funny. Is this lesson going to be fun and over quickly? THE TOWER! detention all round and no goldengirls for anyone

NO! DON'T TAKE AWAY MY GOLDEN GIRLS!! Yeah, I used to have students, teachers, administrators, all ask for Tarot readings from me. During exam week in my Junior Year in high school, I did probably 200 readings

I just have the standard size tarot cards, I never bought any other size I never saw the need. I never saw a problem using the regular size cards when doing a reading in school, thats one of the few reasons I miss school that was how I made money.

I just remembered the druid craft tarot. I guess that can be classed as a giant deck. It isn't the usual tarot card shape though, it is square. I dislike using this deck for the reason that they are just too big. You can hardly shuffle them and they cut into your hands when holding them. Has anyone else got it? If so what do you think of it? I know alot of people who have this deck trim them by cutting off the boarders and then getting one of those edge cutters and rounding the ends off. They say this helps alot but I really don't feel that I should have to go trimming my cards though and I would worry that I would mess them up
